Greens and spring mix garnished with seasonal vegetables.

CAESAR SALAD
Romaine lettuce, grated parmesan cheese served with a creamy Caesar dressing.

PECAN PEAR SALAD
Bartlet pear with red tip lettuce, bleu cheese crumble and pecans. Served with a raspberry vinaigrette.

SPINACH SALAD
Fresh spinach, chopped egg, bacon bits, and red onion.

BELGIAN ENDIVE & APPLE SALAD
Served with cranberry vinaigrette.

ARTICHOKE, ROMAINE, & GRAPE TOMATO SALAD
Served with a balsamic vinaigrette dressing.

SPINACH ORANGE SALAD
A combination of mandarin oranges and tender spinach leaves lightly coated with a delicious down-home Appalachian Mountain dressing.

   

It is often said  that “Salads Refresh the Palate”. Europeans, unlike Americans, serve the salad after the entree and, in doing so; consider it a course in itself. There are dozens of salad greens, ranging in taste from a delicate, subtle flavor, tender and nutlike to a slightly bitter or tangy taste, which can be use alone or in combination to bring a savory joy to the palate. While the simplest mixture of oil, vinegar and seasoning is considered a superb dressing when use to lightly coat the leaves, many Americans favor highly flavored, full body and often texture style dressings. At Anthony's, we offer a wide choice of dressings and our staff will assist you in selecting one or two dressings which will be in complete harmony with the entree to follow.
